Danielle - thanks for subbing. You also exercise a function on our end, that worked just fine, in that you submitted new versions before we had a chance to approve the original. It worked fine on our end.

FYI we're working on a better 'notifications' system, so that submitters know what's happening to their sub while we approve it..

well these are all the same version, but in the case that I did upload new versions that were different, which would appear largest?

also in the case with voting, what if the submitter changes the design and the person that voted for the original design doesn't like the new version?  How are you keeping track of what versions people are voting for?  Dont get me wrong I like the idea of being able to revise submissions, but it seems that there is a flaw in the fact that the designer could completely change a submission to something entirely different, and the votes that would have been cast for the previous would still count towards the altered version.

First, whichever was the last version uploaded will be the one shown the largest.

If you look here, you'll see how you can look at previous versions, and compare them to the current version (the large figure).   BTW, it's not a great design, but we hope it makes the point of how a design with multiple versions looks.

Regarding your other question(s), when the voting is open, the users are voting only on the large, most recently submitted version.  We keep the data on all previous versions, so we can see whether a given design is improving in score with changes (new versions) or not.

Hopefully, users will follow a given design, and comment on whether new or old versions are better.  In the future, we may even offer cash awards to bloggers who help the designer (we would give a winning designer say as to which blogger helped the most, etc.)

thanks for the interest in our site!

your questions and comments go along with some of the feedback we've been getting -- we really want to deliver what people want, to make this site a success, and get the organic tees out there.

I'm sorry... It's probably just me... but does it look like she's hugging a big broccoli?
